Gratituesdays

Having the freedom to eliminate the numbering from my Gratituesdays and Small Potatoes posts. This is more natural, don't you think? More like talking to a friend who can't stay on topic.

Big, big, big windows at work. I like looking out at my little slice of things.

Sunscreen. Because I doubt these big, big, big windows have UV protection. My fave is Epicuren zinc oxide -it's the only zinc oxide-based sunscreen I've found that doesn't take twenty minutes to rub in. It's light - which is ironic, since it blocks it.

Dr. Fat Ass. I was re-reading a book by Wayne Dyer, and in it he said something like, "When you're truly ready for change, you will be presented with a teacher who will give you complete honesty, not just what you want to hear." Thank you, Dr. Fat Ass, for telling it like it is. Will you stop reminding me that I need to lose weight now? No? Okay then.

The Frozen soundtrack. I don't care that the entire film was created to promote maximum merchandising (two princesses to admire, easy translation to stage, etc.), or that I am now apparently in league with tiny little girls everywhere. I love the songs and I love Olaf. Olaf forever. Some people are worth melting for.

My NuSkin products - this morning in the shower I treated my face to a refreshing peel and mask. I know it works because I can see my nose. You know what I mean, right? When your skin is nice and exfoliated you can see your shiny nose - but you look kind of silly crossing your eyes to see it.

A string of sunny, get-out-and-play weekends. And play we have.
