PiYo Day 54: Rest (and a Chocolate Birthday "Kick" shake)

Egads, only two days left. And I don't want to stop! For the first time in my entire life!

I'm officially hooked. I can't wait for my next workout. I love how my body feels when I stay active. I've started craving exercise over Oreos. OreosMe.

Mmm. Oreos.

Today has been all about reflection; thinking back on where I started, what I've accomplished, where I'm going, and how I'm going to get there.

I'm making a lot of changes, both inside and out.

My next step is to clean up my eating - hence my 21 Day Fix Challenge group (it starts October 1st, so order now and let me know so I can add you to the super-secret super-fun Facebook group for super people!).

Today's celebration shake had to be special. With my birthday last week, and closing out PiYo this week, the occasion called for just one thing:

Sprinkles.

*****

I can't decide whether this shake tastes more like devil's food cake batter or brownie batter. You try it and let me know what you think.

The kick of cayenne pepper at the end heats up your mouth and your metabolism!

When you say the name of this shake, say it in a Russian accent like Red on OITNB - it's way more punny that way.

Chocolate Birthday Kick Shake

1 scoop vegan chocolate Shakeology
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
¼ tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp cayenne powder (or more if you cray-cray)
1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
1-2 wheatgrass ice cubes
Rainbow sprinkles

Combine all ingredients (except sprinkles) in your Nutribullet/blender.
Add a few shakes of sprinkles.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and top with - you guessed it - more sprinkles.

Have a sprinkly day.
