Great post! Sfogliatelle is on my life-time list of things to make! My favorite thing about STAYING at the beach, rather than VISITING the beach is the ability to go in and out. Take a nap, talk a walk, take a shower, sit on the sand...go to dinner - enjoy the surf. When you visit - it's outside all the time with no break. GREAT pictures!

If you ever venture to Ocean City, New Jersey, head to the Casa del Dolce bakery at about 10:30 a.m.; that's when the sfogliatelle come out of the oven - they're to die for!
We're not sure where we are going this summer but it's too a beach. I still haven't been to the Carib and am hankering to go there. (-: I just love a beach, any beach. We are actually thinking of a few days at Ocean City - I hear it's overcrowded but I am from the W Coast and kind of want to go - do you have any other recs aside from the bakery which at this point I should probably stay away from?! (-: PS: Hope your summer's going well!
