Gratituesdays

Working at the computer - yes, my arm's asleep.
1.  Finding jeans that fit.  Ladies, can I get an "Amen"?  You know how challenging, frustrating, and disconcerting it can be to go jeans shopping; for me, it's a close second to bathing suit shopping - the Ultimate Depressant.  I found them at the Talbots store in Columbia, where Becca, the most awesome associate ever, spent two hours with me helping me update my work wardrobe.

2.  Cuddle time with Dolce.  There's nothing like seeing her seek me out when she wants a snuggle fest.  It's usually mid-day, when the cats have their usual long nap.  If I'm at the computer, she curls up in my arms and cuts off the circulation until they tingle.  If I'm on the couch, she lays down on the back of the couch, right behind me, and leans into my neck.  I'm really going to miss these moments now that I've started my full-time job.

3.  Kim Ludeman from Healthy Meals to You.  Kim is working with me to help me get healthy.  She's got a nutrition/personal training business, and works with clients in-person, online, over the phone, and even through Skype!  I love her attitude, her faith, and her perseverance.  Several years ago, she changed her unhealthy ways and now is fit and fabulous and helps her clients achieve the same success.  I really like her approach because as a formerly unfit person, she understands how your emotions and thinking is one of the biggest obstacles to a healthy life.

4.  Ellen DeGeneres.  I love her show, and I love her positive attitude.  She focuses on the good things in life, but not in a super-saccharin way that turns you off.  She's a real person, with real ups and downs, but obviously prefers to be happy.  And that's super swell in my book!  Now if only I was at home in time to watch her show...
