Gratituesdays: Election Day

1.  I have the right to voice my opinion in the voting booth.  I don't think this bit of gratitude needs further explanation.

2.  Friends with a sense of humor.  When I asked my friends for blog post ideas, one of them commented: "How about food with an election theme?  Like Big Birgers or Obamelettes?"  I love puns almost as much as politicians love avoiding questions.

3.  Today, my workout is multi-functional: Walk to the voting location.  Vote.  Walk back.

4.  No.  More.  Ads.

5.  I have friends and family who can talk logically and passionately about politics, without judgment or criticism.  Everyone says you should never talk politics at work or at family gatherings.  I'm lucky enough to be able to do both, minus the awkward staff meetings and eerily silent dinner tables.

6.  There are just 16 days until Thanksgiving - the candiday that wins by a landslide every year in my house.
