Small Potatoes



1.  What's that banner across the top of my blog, you ask?  I am now officially a member of the Daily Meal's Culinary Content Network, a group of bloggers who write about everything Food.  I'm excited about the opportunity to network, promote my writing, and maybe even travel!  You can check out The Daily Meal here.

2.  I have a confession to make…I am a poacher.  Don't worry, the little ones are still safely ensconced in their furry coats; I mean I poached eggs tonight!  For the first time ever!  I am amazed out how easy it was, thanks to this poaching method recommended to the world by Jessica over at How Sweet It Is.

3.  Why was I poaching eggs?  Because of this.  Jessica posted this recipe today - and I made it within twelve hours of pinning it, tweeting it, and drooling all over my laptop because of it.  So simple.  So
yummy.

4.  Oh, I almost forgot to mention: I used three times the amount of bacon that the recipe called for.  Oops.  Luckily, bacon is one of those things where more is better, like life insurance or sex.  Yes, I just compared bacon to sex.  Like you haven't done the very same thing...

5.  I have bacon left over.  Four slices.  What should I make?!
