Fun in the Sun

But not too much sun, mind you.  I am Irish, after all.

About a week ago, my dear sous-chef-in-life and I traveled to Ocean City, New Jersey for some family fun. Sugar-bingeing aside, it was a great time!

My light Irish eyes were protected by not only spiffy polarized sunglasses, but also a very patriotic umbrella rental...

In my book, there are very few things more relaxing than watching the ocean.

One of the great things about the beach: lots of time to read.

And go on rides...

And more rides...We called this one "The Giggler" because you couldn't help but giggle the entire time you were on it.

Of course, the pilgrimage.

My sous chef pointed out that no matter where we go on vacation, we always end up watching Food Network in the hotel room - and we LOVE IT!
